Get Volume Shield for Mac
Volume Shield is currently an invite-only private beta and is free during testing. Here's what it needs and how to request access.

There is no public download link yet. Beta builds are shared directly with invited testers as Volume-Shield-0.9.1-beta.1-private-beta.dmg. An ad hoc signed beta is intended only for invited testers, and macOS may warn that it is not notarized. Verify the exact checksum with the beta coordinator through a trusted channel before opening it — never bypass macOS security guidance on your own.
System requirements

- macOS Sequoia 15 (15.0) or later
- Platform
- Native macOS app (Apple silicon and Intel Macs on a supported OS)
- Permission
- Screen & System Audio Recording — used to read outgoing system audio, not the microphone
- Format
- Disk image (.dmg); drag Volume Shield to Applications
- Network
- None required — the app runs locally and makes no runtime network requests
Installing
- 1Open the downloaded .dmg.
- 2Drag Volume Shield.app onto the Applications shortcut.
- 3Launch Volume Shield from Applications — it appears in the menu bar.
- 4Complete the short setup, then allow Screen & System Audio Recording when asked.
